Here’s How 15 Minutes Can Change a Dog’s Life

Dr. Ragen McGowan, PhD

Imagine being able to make a real positive impact in just 15 minutes. A new study has revealed that that’s all it takes to make a difference in the life of a dog.

On July 25-27 in Dallas, AAR’s Executive Director Karen Pitcock attended Best Friends National Conference 2019.

Last week I had the privilege of attending the Best Friends Animal Society Conference in Dallas.  What an experience to be around such amazing people in rescue.  For 3 days straight, I attended a variety of seminars and learned a lot.  Best Friends goal is to have the US no-kill (i.e. 90% live release) by 2025.  Can you imagine?

She attended seminars on Mastering Technology to Save More Lives, Managed Intake, Cultivating a Community of Pet Fostering, and many more.

Best Friends goal is for the US to be no-kill (which means 90% or higher live release) by 2025, and I truly believe this is possible.
